Default college...

...entrance question? if you get 2000 on the sat, have a 4.0 gpa and do sports all-year around and take the hardest course offered(IB and AP), can you get into Stanford or one of the ivy schools?

There is never a guarantee when it comes to ivies.Harvard and Yale were turning down perfect 2400s this year and next year is supposed to be even worse.Definately still apply, but apply to other schools that offer a better guarantee as well. The application process is becomming very overwhelming and even with good credentials like yours, that used to be enough for the ivies, it isn't anymore =( I"Harvard turned down 1,100 student applicants with perfect 800 scores on the SAT math exam. Yale rejected several applicants with perfect 2400 scores on the three-part SAT, and Princeton turned away thousands of high school applicants with 4.0 grade point averages." - New York TimesGood Luck!

if you can write an awesome essay...i'd say yes.but in my opinion...Stanford is not worthy of someone like you...check out CAL....Berkeley is a better place to live anyway.
