Matter of opinion - if they are similarly equipped. Dell has some pretty good deals going on now.

I'm in first year college and on my highschool graduation my mommy bought me an hp pavilion dv6000t and I tell you it's really worth all the money. It's an ENTERTAINMENT PC.It has a complete set of built-ins1.webcam2.microphones3.5-in-1 card reader4.express card slot5.bluetooth6.infraredand many more.It has a very good image and sound quality coz both its LCD and SPEAKERS are high definition. It also has a remote control which is so cool for a laptop to have .I guess...It has lightscribe technology and touch sensitive quickplay buttons..It has an on-off button for the touch pad and It has this very nice looking IMPRINT FINISH only from hp.Mine is Windows Vista and it works pretty good on my hp because they are both slick looking. They complement each other.I highly RECOMMEND HP!!!!!!!!!!!!If you're gonna buy a new laptop I guess its good to buy Vista. Many people might not understand me but Vista works good for me.The only problems I have with it is its incompatibility with OLDER PROGRAMS on the other hand I think its not really a problem for me because there are this LATEST SOFTWARES that are suitable to use for this contemporary times of computer age. That's all.I hope you find this helpful.
