Default Question on the stupid irony of the...

...college who just denied my entrance into Psycial Therapy.? I just got a denied letter in the mail for one of my college choices. It not that I don't have anywhere else to go but its just wierd that it should come the day I broke thier school all time record for the 1000m in track and field. Just yesterday at Cornell University I ran the best race of my life in the 1000m run ending with a time of 2:46.4 which actually ties the record at Nazareth College. You can check the record yourself by going to www.naz.edu. The college is giving me a choice to choose another major for another review but I have to choose by March 10. Not seeing any major that I like close to the Pysical Therapy field except for Nursing, should I reapply to the college for another major and try, though it is difficult to do, to transfer into the Pysical Therapy major with the time I could run at the college and be the all time record holder. Should I reapply or stay with the other three colleges who have already accepted me? Nazareth is not my first choice by the way.

You should not reapply with them. I think you're better off going to one of the colleges who accepts you for what you want to do already!

It sounds like you were denied entrance to your program because they have a limited number of places and you were either too late or there were others they thought were more qualified. If you think you want to be considered based on your athletics ablility, then go for it. Contact the coach and tell him that you would like to run there but only if you can get in the Physical Therapy program.
