Default which major should i choose to be a professor in a university...

...or college?

You should be a History major. It gives you the most avenues after graduation.

I would say stick with an education major while you are an undergraduate. Take a variety of courses to get a better idea of what you enjoy learning, then get your masters or phd in the subject you enjoy. That way you will enjoy teaching it.

education and whatever major you want to teach! but remember, to become a good professor you need AT LEAST a masters, probably a doctorate..
