Done and on to the next challenge!

I started my Masters in Special Education program during the Summer of 1993 at Georgia State University. During that time, I was planning my October '93 wedding AND teaching full time. Each semester during the school year I took 3 classes, and during the summers 4 classes. During my last semester, I became pregnant with my first child. Needless to say, I completed my program in 2 1/2 years, graduating in December 1995. It was hard work, and at times felt like I was losing my mind, but I was determined to become a better teacher and a valuable asset to my school. I have been out of school for 8 months now and am currently applying for the doctoral program at my former university. Will keep you all posted on my progress!
