Not sure what kind of answer you're expecting to get here, you have to either take a class or test out--what else is there? I tested out of several semesters of a foreign language, and got the credit for those semesters as soon as I took the next semester and got higher than a C. I also got AP credit for English, though other subjects are available. Many schools offer these opportunities, call the registration office. Some summer classes are only 3 weeks, so that's a good way to get quick credit because they are usually more relaxed as well. I actually took an english class at a community college where we had keg parties at the park...that was fun, but we did write papers as well

There are options out there, but there isn't an easy out, make use of the options you do have, good luck!
