Depends on the school. Most state schools are 3 credits per class. You could earn that in a semester as a full time student.

Depends on the school and the classes most accredited schools have their classes valued at 3 credits a piece, but you have to look as their minor classes tend to be worth only 1. But if your a full timer a semester will get you 15, it means usually 5-6 classes

A simple subject like presentation or assignment based-1 creditModerate subject-2 creditsHarder subject- 3 credits (In term of deepness and detailing of the course)As a full time students- in ONE semester, approx 5-6 classes with 14-18 credits.ONE semester depends on which college. If the college systems is trisemester per year=1 sem is about 4 mths, if it's 2 semester per year=1 sem is about 6 mths plus the breaks.
